"So that nothing like this ever happens again." This was the wish of our namesake Adolf Bender, who was interned as a political prisoner in various concentration camps under National Socialism.

As the Adolf Bender Centre e.V., we support people and organizations in dealing with right-wing extremism, anti-Semitism and racism and, as an association, we are actively committed to our liberal democracy.

Political education as well as democracy and human rights education with children, young people and adults are our core tasks.

Our approach is: "Political education is for everyone!" For this reason, we work with diverse target groups and don't just go to people who already know how politics and society work. We develop formats in which everyone can find their place, whether old or young, with or without a history of migration, for people with and without disabilities.

Our aim is for participants to take courage and gain a sense that they are important for our democracy and society, that their voice counts, and not just in elections.
